Bible4Life

The Bible 4 Life is the name of our project to share our enthusiasm about the Bible with you! It’s 400 years since King James I of England authorised a group of scholars to translate our Bible into English, and this royal request has been known as the “Authorised Version” ever since. It was written at the same time as Shakespeare was writing in Stratford Upon Avon, which accounts for it being difficult to understand at times. However, this is not just about this version of the Bible, but a celebration of the word of God being available in the native language of this country.

Christadelphians are pleased to let you know about our love of the Bible and its contents. We believe it holds the promise of living forever in a perfect world. Our Fraternal Gathering - 19 November

Our fraternal gathering took place on the 19 November.  It was an opportunity for members of our ecclesia and others to come together to learn more about the bible.  The theme of the event was "The Gospel of the Great High Priest" and there were two talks, entitled "The Priestly Blessing" and "Men Ought to Pray".  Those who attended found it very interesting and enjoyed spending the afternoon in the company of others seeking to know more about the Bible.
