Entering the hall Christadelphians have met in Birmingham for over 140 years. We believe that God caused the Bible to be written over a long period of time and we give equal attention to both Old and New Testaments. We base our beliefs on the principles laid down by the apostles and other early followers of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Bible and we test them by comparison with the actions and motives of those early Christians, and deny any deviations from their practices.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

We believe that Jesus Christ, although born of a human mother, was the result of God's intervention in human biology, and so is Son of Man and Son of God. Because he lived a sinless life, God raised him from the dead and bestowed on him everlasting life. We believe that God has promised to do likewise for all who put their trust in him, and try to live as nearly as possible to how Jesus did during his mortal life.

We believe that Jesus will return to the earth and will rule over it with absolute power, authority and justice, and will reward his faithful followers with the same nature as he himself enjoys.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoso believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
